Residential recycling in our area is managed via Circular Materials. To ensure items can be processed successfully, ensure they are empty, clean, and dry.
What to Include:

• Paper & Boxboard: Flattened cardboard boxes, paper bags, newspapers, and empty egg cartons.
• Plastic Containers: Clear plastic food bins, yogurt tubs, shampoo bottles, and plastic beverage jugs.
• Metal Items: Aluminum cans, steel soup cans, clean aluminum foil wrap, and pie trays.
• Glass & Cartons: Clear or coloured glass jars, juice boxes, milk cartons, and soup boxes.
  What to Avoid:
• No Black Plastic: Black plastic food takeout containers cannot be read by sorting scanners and must go to landfills.
• Leave items loose in the recycling chute. Do not bundle your recyclables inside tied-up plastic grocery bags.
