Emergency Announcements
🚨 Stay Informed: Emergency Announcements & Protocols
In any unexpected situation, clear communication is vital. We want to ensure you know exactly how management shares critical updates, and what actions you should take if you suspect an emergency is unfolding.
📢 When to Expect Management Announcements
Our management team monitors building systems around the clock. You will receive direct, official communications from us during the following events:
- Life Safety Alarms: If the main building fire alarm sounds, the system will broadcast automated vocal instructions or sirens through the speakers located in your suite and hallways.
- Utility Disruptions: If there is an unplanned water shutoff, major power outage, or elevator failure, management will send immediate alerts.
- Severe Weather: If local authorities issue extreme weather warnings affecting our property, we will broadcast safety reminders.
- Post-Incident Updates: Once an active emergency is resolved, we will send an "all-clear" notification to outline next steps or repair timelines.
📬** How We Broadcast Critical Alerts**
To ensure you never miss a message, we deploy notices across multiple channels simultaneously:
- Mass Email & SMS: Urgent alerts are blasted directly to the email addresses and phone numbers registered on your Resident Portal profile.
- Lobby Intercoms: For building-wide notices, our staff may use the public address speaker system located in common areas.
- Digital Screens: Real-time alerts will flash on the digital displays inside the main elevators and lobby areas.
❓ What to Do If Management Has Not Communicated
If you notice a potential hazard or suspect an emergency, but have not yet received an official announcement, do not wait for management to contact you. Take these steps immediately:
- Call Emergency Services: If there is an immediate threat to life or property—such as smoke, fire, a medical crisis, or a crime in progress—call emergency services first.
- Do Not Assume: Never assume someone else has already called it in. It is always better to report an issue twice than not at all.
- Alert the Concierge: Once you are in a safe position, notify the front desk or on-site security immediately so they can trigger building-wide safety protocols.
- Evacuate Safely: If you smell smoke or feel unsafe inside your suite, exit the building immediately via the nearest emergency stairwell. Do not use the elevators.
- Check the Portal: If the situation is not life-threatening (like a localized pipe leak in a hallway), check your Resident Portal or chat with our digital assistant to see if a maintenance ticket is already active.
