⚡ Powering Your Home: Setting Up Your Utilities
Welcome to your new home! To ensure your lights are on and your water is hot on moving day, you must register your utility accounts prior to taking occupancy. Our building uses a sub-metered system, meaning you only pay for the exact resources your individual suite consumes.

💧 What Utilities Do You Need to Hook Up?
Depending on your specific lease or purchase agreement, you are responsible for setting up accounts for the following services:

  • Hydro (Electricity): Powers your lighting, appliances, electronic outlets, and ventilation fans.
  • Thermal (Water Heating & Climate Control): Powers the heating and cooling systems that keep your suite comfortable throughout the year.
  • Water & Sewage: Measures the clean water entering your suite and the wastewater leaving it.

🏢 Our Approved Utility Providers
To streamline the billing process, our building infrastructure is managed by dedicated sub-metering providers. You cannot use outside providers for these specific services:

  • Electricity & Water: Accounts must be registered directly through [Insert Provider Name, e.g., Wyse Meter Solutions / Enercare].
  • Thermal Systems: Accounts must be registered with [Insert Provider Name, e.g., Provident / Enbridge].
  • Note: Please check your welcome package or contact the Concierge to confirm the exact provider links for our specific building address.

📅 Step-by-Step Setup Process
Please complete these steps at least one week prior to your scheduled move-in date to avoid any service disruptions:

  • Gather Your Details: You will need your full legal name, contact information, suite number, and the official occupancy/move-in date.
  • Submit Online Registration: Visit the designated provider websites to fill out the new resident registration forms.
  • Provide Confirmation: Once registered, forward a copy of your utility confirmation emails or account numbers to building management via the Resident Portal.
  • Final Meter Reading: Management will coordinate a baseline meter reading on your move-in day to ensure you are only billed for usage starting from your official occupancy date.

⚠️ Important Billing & Disruption Notes

  • Avoid Auto-Disconnection: Failure to register your utility accounts before moving in may result in an automatic service disconnection by the provider.
  • Reconnection Fees: If your services are disconnected due to non-registration, you will be responsible for paying any provider-mandated reconnection fees to turn the power back on.
